The major difference of loose rockwool with other rockwool and slagwool insulation products is its specific form and state. Loose rockwool is made of loose fibers without any additive or resins which are generally obtained from disposal or waste materials of other rockwool products or through manufacturing process. Loose fill rockwool fibers are in shape of fibrous, granular or casting. The loose shape-less rockwools is injected or molded into cavities and closed spaces.

Since loose fill rockwool fibers are molded into the cavity manually or by a pumping type apparatus, the density can vary greatly, depending on the amount of pressure and fibers inserted. Loose fill rockwools can form any shape, as contained into a closed space so which is not restricted in any kind of geometrical constrain.

– Insulating furnaces, ovens, heaters, boilers and other high temperature applications
